Is Surreal art the destiny of artist today, are many artist both unqualified and professional turning more towards surrealism as our societies turn more towards issues such as profound culture and music in general modern dance,trance,ambient for example these forms of music I find seem to inspire the artist to come up with more profound images inspired by modern music. I paint live almost exclusively. Ergo, my art in particular is DEFINITELY inspired by the music of today. I don't know that it pushes me towards surrealism or if I've chosen to paint to music BECAUSE I paint in a surreal manner. Chicken or the egg syndrome, really.
I know I'm far more interested in the strange, odd, bizarre...

In reply I always say the chicken before it was able to lay eggs i.e. ameba lol evolution ect but yeh art is a very strange medium you can be realist cubist surrealist or fictionist but I always did prefer surreal to any other and music always inspires me to draw especialy abient music or spiritual trance...ie.e goa

Yes that's true, I have completed works with musical influence. It's the story in the music that can inspire me as well as other experiences and emotion.
