communication between artists

I think it would be interesting if artists had more connexions between themselves, to see what others do and to say what they think, sometimes it's encouraging, motivating!
It is also, it's only my opinion, a way to have a living site, a convivial site, it's perhaps what is lacking in this one although it's very pleasant!

I think that is good suggestion!
The only problem is,I think, that many artists are irregular on the web. In my case it's sometimes once a week and some times once a month. And this can slowdown the conversation...?
But there is always a chance to try, otherwise it never happens. This site is very diverse and global and I like that!!
Perhaps It starts now...

Hi Yvette, I agree. I see more and more artist websites but some with some good artist commentation and feedback, but they are far and few inbetween. I am new here and just now checking things out. I should have some photos uploaded in the next couple of days. I usually check back on my sites daily at the least twice a week, if I am really busy working on a new piece, or getting ready for a show, just busy with home and family things. I am also an assistant organizer for an art group and we strive to have an event/exhibit at least once a month so I am always looking for venues for the artists to show. So I would love to hear any feed back on possible ideas, as well as share some of mine. And I always love to hear ideas and critiques of my work, to help me grow.
Working at home and careing for a disabled family member, my time out of the house is very limited, so at times inspiration does dipp fairly low at time.
I truely believe in Artists helping Artists as we are can, together we can accomplish Great Things!!
