I look forward to this section of the web site and draw your attention to a correspondence that I received in the last hour.

One of our website moderators has recently reviewed your portfolio and found that one of your images [Antonia - standing.] does not meet our website guidelines and has been removed. These guidelines, which you have agreed to follow by joining our ite, are posted on the page where you uploaded your artwork and can also be found on the 'policies' link at the bottom of every page of our site. Here is a copy of our image policy for your reference...

PROHIBITED ARTWORK
"Artwork that is not permitted on our website includes, but is not limited to: Any artwork containing full or frontal nudity, genitals, female nipples, naked butts or butt cracks, sex/erotic/pornographic artwork of any kind, extreme gore or any other artwork that may be considered adult/mature/offensive in nature. Borderline subject material that is not specifically mentioned above, may also be removed. We reserve the right to modify/delete any artwork posted to our website."

If you feel your image fully complies with our rules above, you may e-mail it to our staff for a second opinion. Please do not repost the image on the message boards, because it will be removed from there as well.

Premium ArtWanted.com Members have a 'private gallery' feature, where these type of images can be uploaded without being removed.

We have seen some amazing pieces of art from talented artists that unfortunately have to be removed. We hope that you can continue to share your talent with the members and visitors of ArtWanted. Please take the time to upload an alternate piece of artwork or a modified/censored version of the image that has a better chance of being accepted by our moderators. I would like to know the path that I need to follow in order to list at Premium ArtWanted.com Members have a 'private gallery' feature.

I do not comment on censorship anymore. I do not want a second opinion either. I do not have any questions or comments.

I know that these guys will hide behind their "moderators" but you will see from the language that they use in their "rules" note that they are obviously sickos themselves. I have just come back from a week in Madrid and on the basis of the ArtWanted "rules" then thousands of school kids and adults would be unable to visit and look at many of the paintings that I saw in Madrid. It beggars belief who these "moderators" are. Maybe some religious sect or right wing group. I don't know, but it is not the first time that it has happened with ArtWanted. Sad.

We also included as much as was physically possible over the four days in Madrid which included The Caixa Forum, the Carmen Thyssen-Bornemisza, the Museo Sorolla, the Reina Sofia, and the Santiago Bernabeu. These will all need to be revisited because I was dazzled and surrounded by all the Picassos, Pissaros, Goya, Sorrolas, Dalis, Miros, Vazquez, Blanchards, Riveras, Ernst, Ray, Kadinsky, Rothko, Scully, Moore, Kleine, Fontana, Motherwell, Katz, Maplethorpe, Usle, Barcelo, Paul Theks and a plethora of names I had never heard of!

By the way there were many Americans also being corupted in Madrid!
